About SAE Studio

SAE Studio hand makes and curates a considered collection of furnishings and homeware. With over a decade of experience working in design and an eye for detail, I work with my clients to give older pieces of furniture a new life from recovering to full reupholstery, as well as offering a range of new, customisable designs. I hope to add beauty to the every day by making bespoke pieces using quality materials, which are built to last.

Originally trained as a jeweller, I worked in London for several years after graduating in jewellery design and production. In 2019 I travelled Western Canada and North America, and on my return home wanted to learn a new skill & take my career in a new direction. I completed an intensive course in modern upholstery & fell in love with it! I now live in Ulverston, Lakeland designing, making & reupholstering furniture, as well as sourcing and restoring beautiful homeware.
